We must always rejoice to find a new Competition of Music Interpretation that supports the vocation of young performers. In the present case, however, we do feel overjoyed as it also endeavours to transmit the music for guitar by Spanish composers. We are delighted to applaud the initiative of the excellent guitarist Francisco Bernier and his vision of the importance of the guitar, both in Spain and throughout the whole world, with this inspiring project, bound to be a great promotion for performers, as well as an admirable vehicle for disseminating the works of Spanish composers.
